Using Galaxis and MARS, the project brings safer meal redemption, real-time operational control and clearer records to a programme that provides free hot lunches and dinners to lower-income families.Technology supporting a meaningful community programmeJamiyah Singapore operates hot-food locker machines at Bukit Batok so eligible families can collect lunch and dinner conveniently every day. Behind this simple collection experience is an operation that must manage eligibility, food-safety timing, locker availability, inventory and reporting accurately. As part of our corporate social responsibility work, T05 Technologies volunteered to replace and modernise the complete vending management system. Our goal was not simply to introduce new software, but to give Jamiyah a dependable operational foundation that helps its team serve the community with greater confidence.Safer and fairer meal collection with MARSMARS manages membership and redemption tracking for the programme. Each collection is recorded against an eligible member, helping the team apply redemption rules consistently and maintain an accurate history of usage. The system can also restrict redemptions to a configured four-hour collection window. This helps prevent meals from being collected after the intended safe-consumption period, turning an important food-safety policy into an automated part of the collection process. For beneficiaries, the experience remains straightforward. For the operations team, MARS provides the controls and records needed to manage the programme responsibly. One operational view across every hot-food lockerGalaxis is integrated directly with each hot-locker controller. From the platform, authorised operators can remotely open individual compartments when assistance is needed, see available inventory and review how the machines are being used.Usage reports and redemption records give the team a clearer picture of meal collection activity. Instead of piecing information together manually, staff can work from consistent operational data when replenishing meals, resolving collection issues or preparing programme reports.Keeping community messages currentThe machine displays are also managed remotely through Galaxis. Jamiyah can update advertisements, notices and community messages without visiting each machine, allowing the same infrastructure used for meal collection to become a more useful communication channel for residents.Stronger accountability and record-keepingCommunity programmes depend on trust. By bringing membership, redemption, inventory, machine activity and operational reporting into connected systems, JamPacked@Bukit Batok gains more complete and consistent records. This strengthens accountability for the use of donor and public funds, supports more transparent reporting and gives programme stakeholders a clearer view of how resources are reaching the people they are intended to serve.Technology designed to serve peopleFor T05 Technologies, this CSR project demonstrates what unattended technology can achieve when it is designed around a genuine community need. Galaxis provides the operational control, MARS manages fair and time-sensitive redemption, and Jamiyah’s team remains focused on what matters most: making safe, convenient meals available to families who need them.We are proud to support Jamiyah Singapore and JamPacked@Bukit Batok with technology that improves daily operations while contributing to a more transparent and dependable community food programme.

Payrallel Integrates QR Payments Directly with LE Vending Unattended Retail Machines

Payrallel has completed a direct QR payment integration for LE Vending (Hangzhou Yile Shangyun Robot Technology Co., Ltd.) unattended retail machines, bringing regional cashless payment acceptance into the machine purchase flow. The new capability enables compatible LE Vending machine configurations to display a customer-facing QR code using the payment methods and gateways enabled through Payrallel. Payrallel coordinates the payment flow and returns payment confirmation to the machine so the unattended transaction can proceed. For operators deploying coffee machines, snack and beverage vending machines, ice cream machines, pet-care machines and other self-service formats, the integration creates a practical route to local QR payments across Southeast Asia through Payrallel’s payment orchestration layer.Available machine configurations and payment options depend on the LE Vending model, deployment market and enabled gateway setup.QR payments built into the unattended checkoutThe customer journey stays inside the machine experience:1. The customer selects a product or service on the machine.2. The machine requests the applicable QR payment flow through Payrallel.3. A QR code for the enabled local payment method is shown on the machine display.4. The customer scans the code and completes payment with a supported app.5. Payment confirmation is returned to the machine so the transaction can continue. This gives unattended retail operators a familiar, mobile-first checkout while keeping regional payment complexity behind one orchestration layer. One regional payment layer for Southeast AsiaSoutheast Asia is not a single payment market. Customer preferences, QR schemes and payment gateways differ by country, creating integration and operational work for businesses deploying machines across the region.Payrallel unifies these connections through one platform. Examples of consumer-scan QR methods in Payrallel’s current published ecosystem include PayNow, PromptPay QR, QRIS, VietQR, Grabpay QR, Boost QR, LINE Pay QR, Zalopay and 9Pay. The exact methods available on a machine are determined by the deployment country and the payment gateways enabled for that project. For LE Vending deployments, this can help operators:• Reduce the need to build and maintain separate country-specific payment connections.• Present locally familiar QR payment options to customers.• Connect machine checkout to Payrallel’s supported gateway ecosystem.• Prepare one unattended retail platform for expansion into additional Southeast Asian markets.Built for a wider range of unattended retail formatsLE Vending’s equipment portfolio spans coffee, general vending, ice and ice cream, and pet-care categories. The direct Payrallel integration extends regional QR payment capabilities into these unattended environments when a compatible machine configuration is selected. That flexibility matters because the product may change, but the core payment challenge remains the same: give customers a clear way to pay, connect to the right local method and gateway, and return a confirmed result to the machine without requiring an attendant. What this means for operators and distributorsFor vending operators, machine distributors and unattended retail solution providers, the integration provides a clearer path from equipment selection to local payment readiness.Teams can plan each deployment around three practical inputs:• Machine configuration: the compatible LE Vending model and purchase flow.• Target market: the country and locally relevant QR payment methods.• Gateway setup: the Payrallel-connected gateway enabled for that deployment. This approach helps regional rollouts adapt to local payment requirements without rebuilding the entire machine payment experience for every market.Bringing regional QR payments to more self-service experiencesThe LE Vending integration is another step in Payrallel’s focus on payments for unattended environments. By connecting machine-side checkout with Southeast Asia’s local QR payment ecosystem, Payrallel helps operators make self-service purchasing more accessible across different machine formats and markets.Operators, distributors and unattended retail solution providers can contact Payrallel to discuss a target LE Vending model, deployment country and payment gateway configuration.Learn more about Payrallel Payment Orchestration.Explore LE Vending’s unattended machine portfolio.Frequently asked questionsWhich LE Vending machines can use Payrallel QR payments? The integration is designed for compatible LE Vending unattended machine configurations. A key part of this effort was PT Metec Semarang in Indonesia, established in 1996, which produced vending machines for regional markets. Designed for Both Japan and the World Unlike many Japan-origin vending machines that rely purely on JPSTD (VCCS), machines manufactured in Indonesia under Kubota’s operations had a unique advantage: Supported JPSTD (Japanese Protocol) for compatibility with Japanese systems, depending on the models producedIncluded MDB interfaces to support global cashless standards This made them especially valuable for deployment outside Japan, as they could integrate more easily with MDB-based cashless payment devices, which are widely used across Southeast Asia and other regions. Transition to Fuji Electric In 2017, Fuji Electric acquired the Indonesian vending machine business from Kubota Corporation, as Kubota formally withdrew from the vending machine industry. Following the acquisition: The company was renamed to P.T. Fuji Metec SemarangOperations continued under Fuji ElectricProduction was consolidated within Fuji Electric’s global strategy This marked the end of Kubota’s involvement in vending machine manufacturing. End of Production, Legacy in the Field Today, Kubota-branded vending machines are no longer manufactured. However, many remain in operation across Southeast Asia due to their durability and hybrid compatibility. These machines are notable because they: Could potentially support both JPSTD and MDB interfaces Are easier to retrofit for modern cashless systems compared to pure JPSTD machines Continue to serve in mixed-protocol environments A Practical Advantage for Modernization Because of their MDB capability, Kubota machines manufactured in Indonesia are often: Simpler to integrate with MDB card readersLess dependent on protocol conversion hardwareMore adaptable for modern payment upgradesA Legacy That Still Works Today Kubota vending machines may no longer be in production, but they represent a transitional generation—bridging Japanese engineering with global standards. For operators today, they offer a rare advantage: a legacy machine that is still technically relevant in a cashless world.

T05 Technologies Pte Ltd Recognized with Ant International’s Best Impact Partner Award

Singapore, 14 November 2023 — T05 Technologies Pte Ltd (“T05”) is honoured to announce that it has been recognized by Ant International with the Best Impact Partner Award.
